Creation and application of the system of financial evaluation

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the creation of a system of financial evaluation for the company GN Hearing Czech Republic spol. s r.o., which is an importer of hearing aids, also providing services. This company belongs to GN Group, a global company from Denmark. The data source is the annual financial statements from 2015 to 2020. The methods used in this thesis are horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio (profitability, activity, leverage, liquidity ratios), Du Pont, credibility and bankruptcy models. These methods have been adapted to the specifics of the company. One of these specifics is that medical devices are affected by price regulation, which prevents the increase of margin. This is reflected in the profitability evaluation system. This paper uses a comparison of the results of the financial analysis with companies that also sell hearing aids on the Czech market. Based on the created system, possible changes for improvement are proposed.

The thesis is based on publicly available information and is divided into two parts - methodological and practical. The methodological part is focused on description of methods of financial analysis, which will be applied to Renocar in the practical part. The conclusion includes a summary of the company's financial position over the reporting period and recommendations for the future.

Research will be done in a pracitcal part. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate financial health of VOD Plavsko in years 2011-2015 and to recommend solution to remove potenital problems.

Thesis on financial analysis of B. Braun Medical, s. r. o. aims to perform the calculation and evaluation of individual ratios from 2011 to 2015, examination of financial health and proposal of recommendations for the financial management of the company. The thesis includes methodological part, which introduces financial ratios, bankruptcy and credibility models and SWOT analysis. All these instruments of financial analysis are applied to the company mentioned above by using financial statements from 2011 to 2015. It is followed by verbal comments containing interpretation of instruments and their evaluation. Furthermore it outlines the strategic development of the sector and estimation of financial results for the year 2016.

The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part provides an overview of financial indicators. Among the methods of the financial analysis include horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis , Du pont ROE, bankruptcy and credibility models, analysis of differential indicators, economic value added, intercompany comparison. In the practical part is description of the company and the application of different methods.

Financial analysis of the company Megafyt Pharma, s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the financial situation of the company Megafyt Pharma, s. r. o. in the period 2011-2015 and to evaluate its financial health by bankruptcy and credibility models. The bachelor thesis has two main parts. The first part is concerned with the methodology which defines used methods, procedures and indicators that are further used in the financial analysis. The second and practical part introduces the company Megafyt Pharma and its competing company Mediate, s. r. o., and also provides the financial analysis of Megafyt Pharma. Results of the analysis give a comparison with the competitor. In the second part is there is used the spider analysis which compares the values of the analyzed company, the competitor and the specific industrial sector. The practical part concludes with a SWOT analysis that is focused on the identification of the strengths and weaknesses of the company and the opportunities and threats. This part is followed by a conclusion which summarizes the evaluation and outlines possible future developments.

Proposing the financial performance prediction index for decision support of the hospital management

Dissertation thesis deals with the managerial needs in the area of financial health. Managers need a tool to reveal the impending financial failure or to assess the financial quality of the organization. They link their decisions to performance, ability to pay, employee productivity, financial resources and financial risk. In the theoretical part of the thesis it is necessary to explain the non-profit sector and its connection with the hospital environment. It is also necessary to introduce models used both in the Czech Republic and abroad, which share common elements. The basic aim of this thesis is to propose a financial performance prediction index for decision support of the hospital management, the owners of hospitals and insurance companies. To achieve the basic goal, three sub-goals must be accomplished. The first goal is to divide the hospitals into healthy and unhealthy by using the multi-criteria methods. The second goal is, based on an expert approach with the support of statistical methods, the selection of indicators appropriate for the hospital environment and the third goal is to find a suitable method for the determination of weighted representation of individual indicators in the proposed index and to assemble the final form of the new financial index for the hospital environment.

Financial analysis of AŽD Praha s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to carry out the financial analysis of the company named AŽD Praha s.r.o. The analysis is conducted for the financial years 2009/2010 - 2013/2014 from the perspective of an external analyst. To accomplish the goal, the methods of horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis, evaluation of financial health with the use of bankruptcy and credibility models and eventually SWOT analysis were applied. The work is divided into three parts. The methodological part defines the theoretical basis of financial analysis. The second part is dedicated to the introduction of AŽD Praha, the definition of the class of branch and the competitors. The financial analysis in comparison to the rival companies is performed in the practical part.
